Mr. Rafael M. Negron, CEM BEP
Rafael M. Negron has worked
in the energy industry for 20 years. During his 7-year tenure at Public
Service Electric & Gas in New Jersey, he worked as a strategic
account manager and demand side management specialist with many of the
largest industrial and commercial customers in New Jersey. While at
the New York Power Authority, he managed the company’s largest electric
customer, the City of New York , for over 3 years and oversaw the
installation of millions of dollars worth of energy efficiency projects
at various City agencies. In addition, Mr. Negron managed the
installation of the first operational fuel cell installation in
Manhattan at the police precinct in New York’s Central Park.
As
Principal of Norgen Consulting Group, Inc., Mr. Negron is responsible
for overseeing energy savings projects for some of the largest
commercial and institutional clients in New York City. His
responsibilities include energy auditing, energy modeling, and rate
schedule analysis. Mr. Negron is also involved in identifying energy
savings measures, project managing installations and securing energy
incentives from public and private entities.
In addition to
his energy experience, Mr. Negron has a Masters of Science degree in
environmental engineering and has assisted customers with various
environmental compliance issues. Mr. Negron has helped clients review
the technical requirements and compliance options for meeting the
recently proposed New York State NOx emissions standards. He has also
provided project management services for various environmental testing
projects.
Mr. Negron received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and
an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the Newark College of
Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is a
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Business Energy Professional (BEP) by
the Association of Energy Engineers.
